# Vice News Journalists Arrested In Southeastern Turkey
Diyarbakır, Aug 31  
Two reporters affiliated to British news organization Vice News have been detained by Turkish security forces along with a fixer and translator in the team, in Diyarbakır, on Thursday Aug 27.
Turkish security sources have declared the journalists had been detained for filming without government accreditation and have accused the team of supporting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant  
International rights organizations have recently called on Turkish authorities to release Vice News journalists.
