# Anti-Pkk Operation In Southeastern Adıyaman: 13 Detained
\- In the southeastern province of Adıyaman, an early anti-PKK ( the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party) operation was launched by the District Provincial Directorate of Security Anti-terror Branch teams, with support of the gendarmerie and special operation police officers, on July 27.
Following a concurrent raid at various locations in the city centre and many villages, thirteen people were detained.
After having gone through medical examinations at the Adıyaman University Education and Research Hospital, the detained suspects were brought to the anti-terror branch in the province for interrogations.
A soldier had been killed and two had been wounded after a clash between the PKK and military forces in Adıyaman, on July 20.
